The city of Miami has just given the OK to a great new design concept for the soon-to-be constructed South Point Park Pier.
The best part about this plan is that the designers have included the use of ipe decking in their plans.
Why ipe?
Well, I can only imagine that since the Miami Beach boardwalk already uses ipe hardwood, it would be important to maintain that famous South Beach look.
There’s a reason why the Brooklyn Bridge, Las Vegas resorts like Treasure Island, and the Fisherman’s Wharf pier in San Francisco chose ipe. It is the best, most durable hardwood decking option that gives people the greatest return on their investment without sacrificing on quality. In addition, decking that uses ipe hardwood is also the safest choice. Just think of the millions of people who walk, run and ride their bikes on a boardwalk. Wouldn’t it make sense to use an exotic hardwood that needs very little maintenance and naturally repels rot, decay, mildew, fungus, and mold?
The choice is clear: building a deck with ipe deck boards is the best choice you can make. Check out our extremely competitive ipe price list.
