Donating to Operation Airdrop

Helping Victims of Hurricane Helene

Staging area of donations in one of the Concord, NC airport hangers.

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, many communities are struggling to rebuild their lives, and we’re still coming to grips with the full impact of the disaster. Two of our locations were impacted by the storm, but by the grace of God they suffered no damage, and are both back up and running.

However, we know that not everyone was so fortunate. Loved ones and homes have been lost, essential services have been disrupted, and countless individuals are facing an uncertain future.

Since our owners are enthusiasts of both aviation and of helping others, we’re donating to Operation Airdrop in order to deliver essential items directly to the heart of the affected area. This group of volunteer pilots is doing an awesome job getting supplies to where they’re needed most. We all really wanted to just load up our vehicles and drive to the heart of the disaster ourselves, but this can often impede recovery efforts. Unorganized donations are often referred to as “the second disaster” when not implemented properly. Our goal is to provide relief to those in desperate need, helping them take the first steps toward recovery. We hope that those who are able will consider supporting this organization or others like it!

Our sales rep Craig McCall is with Operation Airdrop organizer Larry at the dropoff site, purchasing supplies for those in need. Having the drop site at Walmart makes it super easy to go inside, buy some cart loads, and roll them over to the Operation Airdrop crew!

For those who wish to help, you can donate supplies to the Operation Airdrop dropoff point in the Walmart parking lot at 5825 Thunder Rd NW, Concord, NC 28027 before end of day Friday. Click the link below for a list of needed supplies: SUPPLY LIST
